I didn't expect to be mentioning so many things about my hometown this week, but nevertheless they are in there and so this song seemed appropriate.
Of course, what makes it perfect is that the decision to reference it is both self-fulfilling & circular. I was a Bryan Adams fan before Reckless, so before Run To You, It's Only Love & Summer of 69. I got into BA because of the Cuts Like A Knife album and by default this song.
That was 1983, and it evokes memories of listening to this album with my mate Steve Nicholson (who introduced me to it) whilst we hung out, talking about music and our shared love of Sheffield United.

Therapy For Me (or TFM as I now refer to it) is a bit of an audio curiosity. It started out as a mechanism for me to clear my head, with the hope that by saying stuff out loud it would act as a little bit of self-help. It's remains loose in style, fluid in terms of content and raw - it's a one take, press record and see what happens, affair.
